EMTOP Insulated Screwdriver SL4.0 x 100mm 1000V ESDRJ4100

Slotted insulated screwdriver with a 4.0mm tip on a 100mm round shank. It matches the terminal screws found in sockets, switches, ceiling roses and small control components, making it a daily tool for electricians and appliance repairers.

Chrome vanadium steel gives the blade the torsional strength to keep its tip square, and the insulation is rated to 1000 V along the shank. The redesigned handle spreads pressure across the palm, which counts when a run of terminals has to be tightened in sequence.

Reach for it when terminating conductors, adjusting contactors, opening accessory covers or working in a consumer unit where a bare blade could bridge two terminals. Slim proportions let it sit comfortably in a tool pouch or shirt pocket. Never press an insulated screwdriver into service as a chisel or lever, because a bent blade and a split sleeve both remove the protection the tool was bought for. Look the covering over before each job and set aside any driver whose insulation is damaged.
