EMTOP Jig Saw 400W 55mm Variable Speed EJSW4001

Curved and awkward cuts in board and thin metal are what a jig saw is for, and the EJSW4001 covers them at 400W. It is the light corded model in the range, suited to fitters, shopfitters and home users who cut occasionally rather than all day.

Stroke rate is variable between 800 and 3000 per minute, which lets the operator slow down for steel and plastic where too much speed melts or blues the cut, and open up in timber. Cutting capacity is 55mm in wood and 3mm in steel. One saw blade is supplied with the tool, and standard blades fit for cutting different materials as jobs require. Being mains driven, it maintains stroke rate through a long cut without any drop in charge.

Reach for it when cutting shelf notches around pipes, forming openings in ply and MDF, cutting laminate and skirting to shape, trimming thin sheet metal, and following a curved pencil line where a circular saw cannot go.
