EMTOP Mitre Box and Back Saw Set 300mm 11TPI EHASMB3001

A mitre box and back saw supplied together, giving carpenters, shopfitters and home workshops a simple way to cut repeatable angles in architrave, skirting, beading and picture frame stock. The box guides the blade so the angle comes from the fixture rather than the eye.

The saw measures 300mm with 11 teeth per inch, a pitch fine enough to leave a clean edge on softwood, hardwood and plastic mouldings. Its blade is 65Mn steel with heat treated teeth, stiffened along the back so the cut stays straight, and the handle carries a new design for a controlled grip.

The plastic mitre box measures 300 x 140 x 80mm and takes the common mitre and square cuts needed for trim work. Clamp or screw it to a bench for the steadiest results when working through a run of lengths. Let the blade find its own line for the first few strokes with the saw held lightly, and the guide slots will take care of the angle from there.
