EMTOP Petrol Generator 2.8kW Recoil Start EGGRR2822

Between a lights-only set and a full standby machine sits this EMTOP EGGRR2822, a 220-240V petrol generator giving 2.5kW continuous and 2.8kW on peak. It is the size most shops, salons, small offices and homes settle on when a fridge, a few lights, a television and the odd power tool all have to run at once.

Power comes from a 210mL four-stroke OHV engine, air-cooled and fitted with T.C.I ignition for reliable lighting of the charge. The alternator uses aluminium coil windings and the set runs at 3000rpm. Starting is by recoil only, which keeps weight down to 42kg and removes the battery from the maintenance list. A 15L fuel tank is generous for the output, so refuelling breaks are few.

Use it for retail and salon standby, running a fundi's grinder or drill where there is no supply, powering site lighting and a small mixer, farm outbuildings, and events or outside catering.
