Where the water sits below the pump and the delivery has to climb, a jet pump earns its place. This EMTOP self-priming jet pump is rated 750W and reaches a maximum head of 51 metres, considerably higher than a plain centrifugal unit of the same power, with a maximum suction lift of 9 metres.

Being self-priming, it clears air from the suction line and re-establishes flow after the level drops or the line is opened, which saves the routine of priming by hand every morning. Flow is 55 litres per minute through 1 inch by 1 inch connections. Inside, a stainless steel impeller runs on a stainless welded 304 and 45# shaft, the body is electrophoresis coated against corrosion, and the motor is copper wound. A 0.3 metre cable is fitted.

Use it on shallow wells and sumps, underground tank supply, pressure boosting for multi-storey houses, irrigation lines and livestock watering where lift matters more than volume.
