About this product
Measuring tape work is constant on any job, and a steel blade with a proper lock is what makes a reading repeatable. The hook at the end catches an edge for a pull measurement or butts against a face for a push, and the lock holds the blade out while the mark is made.
Carpenters, masons, electricians and fitters use one all day for setting out, marking cuts and checking dimensions.
Wipe the blade before it retracts if the work is dusty; grit is what wears the printing off a tape.
