EMTOP Tile Cutter 600mm Manual with 2 Blades ETCR6001

Manual tile cutter with a 600mm maximum cutting length, covering the large-format porcelain and ceramic tiles now common in bathrooms, shops and open-plan floors. Tilers work this style of cutter dry and quietly, which suits occupied buildings where a wet saw would be a nuisance.

The steel base carries a 2mm thickness, and the sliding bar measures 19mm in diameter to keep the scoring wheel travelling in a straight line under hand pressure. Two tungsten carbide blades of 16 x 6 x 3mm are supplied, and the tool handles tiles up to 12mm thick.

Multi-function guides allow both direct line cutting and diagonal line cutting, so borders, infills and corner pieces can be marked and snapped on the same bench. Score once with steady pressure, then press the breaker down for a clean edge. Mark the glazed face, hold the tile firmly against the fence, and take one continuous score rather than several passes, as a single clean score is what produces a straight break.
