MAX M-1519 LED Downlight 7W to 20W Daylight & Warm

MAX's M-1519 is a round recessed downlight sold across a range of sizes, available in 7W, 10W, 12W, 15W and 20W and in both daylight and warm white. Buying the same fitting in several outputs lets a contractor light a corridor, a bedroom and a kitchen from one product family without the ceiling looking mismatched.

The free open hole design is the practical feature here: a push-pull buckle adjusts the opening size, so one fitting covers a range of cut-outs and an existing ceiling hole rarely has to be re-cut. The die-cast aluminium back cover comes away easily for access, and the PC front is chosen for its resistance to yellowing. Light comes from 2835 SMD emitters behind a 120 degree beam, driven by a non-isolated constant current driver. Manufacturer figures for the series give AC220-240V 50/60Hz operation, a colour rendering index of 70 or above, colour temperatures of 3000K, 4000K and 6500K, a rated life of 15,000 hours and a working ambient of up to 45 degrees Celsius.
