MODI Bakelite 13A Switched Multi Function Socket MD-KJM012

Same body, wider welcome: the MD-KJM012 is the multi-function version of MODI's standard Bakelite 13A switched socket, listed under model MD-HWD5037. The outlet accepts UK square pin plugs and round pin plugs, so imported appliances and chargers can be used directly.

Switching is single pole at the plate. Behind it, the accessory uses selected copper internal parts formed by one-piece moulding, specified for electrical corrosion resistance and for holding contact pressure through repeated use. Internal wiring terminals mean conductors are landed inside the accessory and the plate closes cleanly onto the box. Panel moulding is high quality PC, self-extinguishing and flame retardant in the event of a fault.

It is the sensible default in furnished rentals, guest houses, hotel rooms, offices and shops where the equipment plugged in is not under the owner's control. Many contractors mix these with the standard MD-KJM010 across a project, fitting universal outlets in bedrooms and living areas and plain ones elsewhere. Packed 100 pieces to a carton.
