MODI Bakelite 3 Gang 2 Way Plate Switch Surface Mount

Where a wall has to control three separate lighting points, the MD-KJM006 keeps them on one plate rather than three. It is the three gang, two way switch in the MODI bakelite range, and each gang is wired for two way operation so any of them can be paired with a second switch elsewhere in the building.

Bakelite is still specified for this kind of work because it is hard, heat-tolerant and does not scuff the way softer plastics do on a busy corridor wall. The switching parts are selected copper, chosen for conductivity and resistance to electrical corrosion, and the body is a single moulding, which keeps three mechanisms sitting square to the plate over a long service life. Internal wiring gives the installer somewhere to put the extra cores that a three gang position inevitably brings.

Typical positions are entrance halls controlling several rooms, landings, shop floors with zoned lighting, and compounds where internal and external lights are switched from one point. Packed in cartons of 100 for trade buyers.
