MODI Bakelite Telephone Socket Outlet 1 Gang MD-KJM025

Structured wiring still needs somewhere to land. The MD-KJM025 is a one gang telephone socket, wired as a secondary outlet, from MODI's Bakelite range under the MD-HWD5022 series.

Its internal parts are selected copper, one-piece moulded, which keeps the contact pressure consistent on a low-current connection where corrosion causes noise long before it causes a total failure. Terminals are inside the accessory, so the pair can be punched down and the plate screwed back with the cable neatly contained in the box. Its faceplate is moulded in high quality PC, self-extinguishing and flame retardant.

Typical positions are office desks, reception counters, hotel rooms, clinics and the extension points of a small PABX. Because it matches the other Bakelite plates in profile and finish, it sits without visual mismatch beside the power outlets on the same run of conduit.
