About this product
A 56-inch ceiling fan on a 90W motor, the MD-HWF2004 is sized for a living room or a large bedroom where a smaller sweep would leave the corners still. Five speeds give useful control at both ends: low enough to move air overnight without noise, high enough to shift a room quickly in the middle of the day.
The motor is wound in full copper rather than aluminium, which is the specification worth checking on any fan intended to run for hours at a stretch, and it turns on double ball bearings. Copper windings run cooler and hold their efficiency over years of duty, and ball bearings are what keep a fan quiet as it ages. Construction is copper, iron and plastic, at a shipped weight of 2.2kg.
Two finishes are offered, gold and silver, both suited to ceiling, standard and wooden-ceiling installations as well as cement ceilings with the appropriate fixing. Supplied in cartons of three.
