About this product
Sharing the Galaxy range's zinc alloy construction, the MD-HWSA6602 is a single-lever sink mixer with a longer, heavier spout than its 6601 stablemate. The outlet pipe is 201 stainless steel at 460mm long and 28.5mm in diameter, giving extra reach and a broader profile for larger kitchen bowls and deep utility sinks.
The main body and lever handle are zinc alloy, and the outlet uses a copper shell fitting. Internally the mixer runs a copper cap, copper core and copper rod on a 1/2 by 45 thread, and stainless steel braided pipes are used for the supply connections, which keeps installation to a straightforward tie-in on existing tails.
Typical uses include kitchen sinks in family homes, apartment blocks and serviced units, along with commercial kitchens, bars and canteens where a taller spout makes filling pots and jugs easier. Supplied in cartons of ten, it is a sensible stocking item for plumbers and hardware retailers who want two spout sizes from one series.
