MODI LED Motion Sensor Panel Light 20W White 215mm

This MODI panel switches itself. The MD-PLM5520RG is a 20W motion sensor LED ceiling light that turns on automatically when someone comes into the space and turns off again once they leave, which removes the wall switch from the equation in places where hands are full or lights are routinely left burning.

Output is 1600 lumens with a colour rendering index of 80 or above, spread over a 120 degree beam from a body measuring 215 x 45mm. The shell is PC, finished in white, and the series is listed at 3000K, 4000K and 6500K so the fitting can be matched to warm or daylight schemes elsewhere in the building. Manufacturer figures give a rated life of 25,000 hours, an ambient working temperature up to 45 degrees Celsius, a power factor above 0.5 and an AC220-240V 50/60Hz supply.

The obvious places are corridors, staircases, kitchens, bedrooms, store rooms, garages and washrooms, along with rental blocks and offices where lights left on overnight are a recurring cost.
