MODI M1 45A AC Wall Switch White Gold Grey Black

Where a fixed appliance has to be isolated at the wall, the MODI M1-029 is the 45A switch that does it. It belongs to the M1 accessory range, so the plate lines up visually with the sockets, switches and outlets used elsewhere in the same installation, and it is supplied in white, gold, grey and black.

The front plate is moulded in high-quality PC, a self-extinguishing and flame-retardant material selected to hold its colour and resist cracking around the fixing screws. Inside, the series uses one-piece moulded copper contacts chosen for corrosion resistance and conductivity, so the switch stays positive in use rather than becoming loose. Wiring is carried out from within the plate, an arrangement that speeds up second fix and keeps conductors neatly inside the back box.

Typical installations put it beside an electric cooker, a water heater or an instant shower, and in commercial kitchens, salons and laundries. It is stocked by electricians and hardware shops in carton quantities of 100 pieces.
