Dimming turns a single lighting circuit into several settings, and the MODI M1-024 is the dimmer in the M1 range, built on the V1-024 series plate. Rated at 1000W, it is sized for the kind of load found on a sitting room or restaurant lighting circuit rather than a single bedside lamp, and it replaces an ordinary one gang switch in a standard back box.

The faceplate uses the same high-quality PC material as the rest of the series - self-extinguishing and flame retardant, moulded in one piece so it does not distort in service. Internal parts are selected copper for stronger conductivity and resistance to electrical corrosion, and wiring is taken internally, which keeps termination straightforward behind the plate.

It is used in living rooms, hotel lounges, restaurants, bars and conference spaces where light levels need to change through the day, and in bedrooms where a low setting is wanted at night. As with any dimmer, the lamps on the circuit must themselves be dimmable, so confirm the lamp type before commissioning. Finished in white to match the M1 switch and socket range, and packed 80 pieces per carton.
