MODI Track Rail TL012M-2 2M White Aluminium 2-Wire

This is the metal-bodied two metre rail in the MODI track range. The TL012M-2 is built from aluminium with copper conductors rather than a plastic section, which is the specification to choose where the run is long, the fittings are heavy, or the track is within reach and likely to be knocked.

The section measures 2000 x 33.5 x 15.7mm and is finished in white, with black also produced in the same model. Copper conductors carry the supply along the length to the spotlights clipped into it, and the aluminium body gives the rail its rigidity across a two metre span with fewer intermediate fixings. It is designed for second-line track lights, so check that your heads use a matching two-wire adaptor before ordering.

The manufacturer lists it for both home and commercial use: shop aisles and display walls on the commercial side, and open-plan kitchens, stairwells and living areas at home where adjustable spots are wanted without cutting into a ceiling. Supplied 20 pieces per carton.
