Pedrollo F50/160A Centrifugal Pump 7.5kW Flanged

Pedrollo F50/160A is a close coupled end suction centrifugal pump with flanged inlet and outlet, built for high volume duty where a large flow has to be moved continuously. The hydraulic end follows the dimensions set out in DIN 24255, so it interchanges with other pumps built to that standard.

Casing and back plate are cast iron with a brass alloy impeller and a ceramic and graphite mechanical seal. A back pull out layout lets the rotating assembly be withdrawn for service without breaking the casing away from the pipework. Drive is by a close coupled fan cooled TEFC induction motor, non-overloading and rated for continuous duty; being three phase, it needs a remote starter with thermal overload wired to local regulations.

Industrial process water, irrigation mains, water treatment transfer, cooling circuits and building services boosting all suit a pump of this size. The pumped liquid should be thin, clean and chemically non-aggressive, without solids or fibres.
