Pedrollo PKm60 Hydrofresh Booster Set with 24L Tank

Supplied as a ready assembled pressure set, the Pedrollo PKm60 Hydrofresh combines a PKm60 peripheral impeller pump with a horizontal diaphragm tank, pressure switch and gauge on one frame. The pump cuts in as pressure falls and cuts out once the tank is recharged, so a plumber has only to connect suction, delivery and power.

The pump body is cast iron, with a brass insert in the front housing for better starting and protection against jamming, and a brass impeller. An anti-vibration arrangement between shaft and impeller keeps noise down, while the paint finish resists environmental corrosion. The close coupled TEFC brushless induction motor is rated for continuous operation and carries a thermal relay in the windings against electrical and mechanical overload; it connects to the mains through a fuse or MCB.

Tank fed house supplies, guest houses, shops and workshops are the usual applications, wherever gravity head is too low to give sensible pressure at taps, showers and appliances.
