Pedrollo PKm65 Peripheral Impeller Booster Pump 0.75HP

Water transfer and pressure boosting in domestic and small scale installations is what the Pedrollo PKm family is made for, and the PKm65 is one step up the range. Peripheral impeller pumps of this kind produce a comparatively high head from a small casing, so they suit supplies where pressure at the tap is the limiting factor rather than volume.

Cast iron forms the pump body, with a brass insert set into the front housing that improves starting performance and protects against jamming; the impeller itself is brass. Noise is held down by an anti-vibration arrangement between shaft and impeller, and the paint finish is chosen to resist environmental corrosion. A close coupled TEFC brushless induction motor rated for continuous operation drives the pump, protected by a thermal relay in the windings.

Homes, guest houses, workshops and gardens are the common settings, either boosting a tank fed supply or transferring water between storage. Control may be manual, or automatic through the Pedrollo Easysmall controller or a pressure tank and switch.
