Pedrollo Three Phase Submersible Borehole Motor

Submersible borehole pumps are driven by a matched pair of wet end and motor, and this Pedrollo three phase unit is the motor half — a sealed motor made to run continuously below water level with the pump stage assembly bolted to its flange.

Drillers and pump contractors buy motors separately to replace a failed unit, to rebuild an existing set, or to marry a new wet end to an installation already in the ground. Three phase supply is normal on deeper boreholes and higher duties, with starting and overload protection provided at the control panel.
