Pedrollo Top 2 Submersible Drainage Pump 0.37kW

Pedrollo Top 2 is a submersible drainage pump for light emptying duty, handling water that carries small impurities and light silt loads. An external float with a built-in switch is fitted as standard, so the pump starts and stops on its own as the level in the sump rises and falls.

External casing, suction base and impeller are fibreglass reinforced technoplastic and Noryl, which keeps the pump light to carry and resistant to corrosion. Double mechanical seals with an intermediate oil chamber isolate the motor completely, and the layout is deliberately simple to strip and service. The built-in motor is liquid cooled, non-overloading and rated for continuous operation, with a thermal cut-out in the windings; it connects directly to the mains through a fuse or MCB.

Flooded basements and lift pits, sump and pit emptying, tank draining, garden and building site water clearing all suit a pump of this size. The pumped liquid should be thin, chemically non-aggressive and non-abrasive.
