Schneeberg HY152 Float Switch for Automatic Pump Control

The Schneeberg HY152 is a cable suspended float switch used to control a pump automatically from the water level in a tank, sump or reservoir. As the level moves the float tilts, and the switch inside it makes or breaks the control circuit.

Wired for filling, it stops the pump once a tank is full; wired for emptying, it starts the pump as a sump fills and cuts it off before the pump can run dry. Adjusting the free length of cable between the float and its anchor sets the switching differential.
