Safety Spectacles

Safety eyewear of the spectacle type, worn like a pair of glasses rather than strapped round the head as a goggle. There are four options: a clear lens under the Proson name, a clear lens under the Krickwood name, a clear lens in a black frame, and a tinted black lens.

The clear lenses are what a site issues for grinding, drilling, chipping and dusty yards, and what workshops and school technical rooms hand out and collect again at the end of a lesson. The tinted pair is bought for outdoor work in glare. Safety officers, fabricators and hardware retailers take them in bulk, because eyewear is lost, sat on and scratched faster than any other item on the PPE shelf.

Four options are available, and the supplier packs the clear lens with the black frame three hundred pieces to a carton, which is why it is the one most trade buyers take. No lens standard is published for any of the four, so if your site requires certified eye protection, confirm the certification you need before ordering.
