Tiger Gum Boots

Black gum boots carrying the Tiger name, which is how a good many buyers ask for them rather than by description. Moulded in one piece, calf-height shaft, pull-on. Two things separate this one from the plain industrial boot beside it: the name on the boot, and a size run that carries on up to a No 11.

Wet and dirty work is what they are bought for. Concrete and slab work, drainage and sewer crews, car washes and garages, abattoirs and fish markets, flower farms, greenhouses and dairy sheds, quarry and murram yards through the rains. Contractors, farm managers and security firms buy them for issue, and hardware shops keep a size run on the floor.

Seven sizes, No 5 through No 11, sold by the pair. If you are kitting out a crew, take the middle sizes in depth and the No 11 in ones and twos. The supplier does not publish a standard or certification for these boots, so where a site or a client calls for certified safety footwear, confirm the certification you need before you order.

One point to settle before you order: the supplier photographs this boot in several colours - black, green, red and white have all been supplied - and does not list colour as a choice against the size.
