MODI Bakelite 4 Gang 2 Way Switch 3x6 Large Plate

This is the four gang, two way bakelite switch built on the larger 3x6 plate. The extra plate area spaces the rockers further apart, which makes the switch easier to operate in the dark and gives the installer more room behind for cables at a position where four circuits converge.

Construction is the same hard-wearing bakelite moulding used across the MODI bakelite range, with selected copper internal parts specified for conductivity and resistance to electrical corrosion. The one-piece moulded body keeps the four mechanisms square and consistent, and internal wiring lets a heavier bunch of conductors be terminated inside the box without forcing the plate away from the wall.

It is a good fit where a wide box is already in place, or where the client wants a more substantial-looking plate at the main entrance of a house, an office reception, a hall or a shop. Packed 50 pieces per carton.
