MODI Bakelite 6 Gang 2 Way Switch 3x6 Large Plate

Six switched ways on one 3x6 bakelite plate, the MD-KJM042 is intended for the position that controls a whole floor or a whole compound. Each gang is a two way switch, so several of them can be paired with switches elsewhere while the rest run as ordinary one way circuits.

The larger plate is what makes the gang count workable, spacing the rockers so they can be identified by feel and leaving room behind for the number of conductors a six way position brings. The plate itself is moulded bakelite, chosen for hardness and heat tolerance, and the internal parts are selected copper with good conductivity and resistance to electrical corrosion. One-piece moulding keeps the mechanisms aligned, and internal wiring is what makes terminating six circuits in one box a manageable job.

Look to it for entrance lobbies of large houses, hostels, churches, halls, godowns and commercial premises where external, corridor and room lighting are all switched from a single control point. Supplied 50 pieces per carton.
