About this product
The MODI Galaxy MD-HWSA6601 is a single-lever sink mixer intended for kitchen and utility positions where a tap is opened and closed dozens of times a day. Its main body and handle are cast in zinc alloy, and the outlet pipe is 201 stainless steel, so the spout stays rigid when swung across a double bowl.
Water leaves through a copper shell outlet fitting. Inside, the valve assembly is built around a copper cap, copper core and copper rod on a 1/2 by 45 thread, and the mixer is supplied with stainless steel braided flexible pipes so it can be tied into existing hot and cold tails without reworking the wall plumbing. The outlet pipe measures 440mm long by 22mm in diameter, which gives useful reach over a standard sink bowl.
It suits kitchen fit-outs in houses, apartments and rentals, as well as restaurant and canteen sinks and back-of-house wash points. Packed ten to a carton, it is a practical line for plumbing contractors and hardware shops keeping a mixer range on the shelf.
