MODI LED Ceiling Light MD-PLM6236R 36W Round Surface Panel

Surface-mounted and slim, the MD-PLM6236R is the 36W member of MODI's PLM62 round ceiling light range. It fixes flat to a concrete or gypsum ceiling with no recess required, which makes it a common choice where there is no ceiling void to drop a downlight into.

The series uses SMD LEDs behind a diffusing face, spreading light across a 150 degree beam so the output washes the room rather than pooling directly beneath the fitting. Housings are moulded from plastic and PS, keeping the unit light enough to mount on plasterboard, and the range carries a colour rendering index above 80 with 1.5KV surge protection and a power factor above 0.5 on an AC220-240V 50/60Hz supply.

It suits bedrooms, corridors, kitchens, bathrooms, stairwells, offices and shop interiors, and the flat white profile keeps it unobtrusive in rooms with low ceilings. Electricians fitting out apartment blocks tend to use these where a uniform, low-maintenance ceiling light is wanted throughout.
