MODI LED Floodlight MD-FL15300S 300W SMD White

At 300W this is the high-output member of MODI's FL15 floodlight family, intended for the large open areas that smaller fittings cannot reach: yards, car parks, loading bays, construction sites, sports areas and factory forecourts.

The series uses SMD LEDs behind a 90 degree optic, which concentrates output onto the working area rather than spilling it sideways into neighbouring plots. Housings are built around aluminium with ABS or PC parts, the combination that lets the fitting shed heat while keeping the front assembly light. Series electrical figures are a power factor above 0.9 and surge protection at 4KV on an AC220-240V 50/60Hz supply, with a rated life of 25000 hours. Colour temperature options across the range are 3000K and 6500K.

Mounted on the supplied bracket, a floodlight of this output is normally fixed high on a wall, pole or gable and angled down onto the area being lit. Note that the detailed photometric figures published by the manufacturer cover the 50W model in this series rather than the 300W, so lumen output for this size should be confirmed before a lighting calculation is relied on.
