Ordered by the box on almost every job, the M1-002 is the single gang two way switch in the MODI M1 flush range. Wired as a one way switch it controls a single light point; wired as a pair it gives two way control of a corridor, a staircase or a bedroom light operated from the door and the bed.

The plate is moulded from high-quality PC material that is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, formed in one piece so it does not flex or distort in the back box. Inside, selected copper parts handle the switching, specified for stronger conductivity and resistance to electrical corrosion so the contact stays clean rather than pitting and heating over time. Internal wiring keeps the terminations contained and shortens the second fix, which matters when a single house takes twenty of these.

It is used throughout residential, rental, hotel and light commercial work. Four finishes are supplied, white, gold, grey and black, and the plate profile matches the sockets and outlets in the same M1 range so a whole property can be finished consistently.
