Sista PU Foam Universal 750 ml, Straw Type

Sista PU Foam Universal is Henkel's 750 ml one-component polyurethane expanding foam in the straw type: the applicator straw is clipped to the side of the can, so no foam gun is needed. It cures on the moisture in the air and the substrate, and fills and insulates gaps around door and window frames, cavities and pipe penetrations.

How to use

• Dampen mineral surfaces before foaming, and brace anything that could be pushed out of square until the foam has set.
• Fill about a third of the gap; the foam expands.
• Cover cured foam by painting, plastering or trimming over it: unprotected foam breaks down in sunlight.

Store and transport the can upright, wrapped, and never in the passenger compartment of a vehicle. Remove fresh foam from skin at once and wipe residues with vegetable oil; fresh foam on other surfaces comes off with PU cleaner, and cured foam can only be removed mechanically. Since August 2023, users of reactive polyurethane products containing more than 0.1% MDI must be able to show training in safe handling on request; Henkel points to the FEICA training tool at www.feica.eu/PUinfo.
