About this product
The ALLTOP Solar LED Flood Light with Motion Sensor is a solar security light in Kenya, available in 50W, 100W and 150W. Its built-in PIR motion sensor brightens the light when movement is detected and saves energy when the area is empty, so you get light when you need it.
How it works
High-efficiency solar panels charge a long-lasting LiFePO4 battery during the day, and Bridgelux LEDs give the light at night. There are no electricity costs. The manufacturer states up to 36 hours of runtime on a full charge.
What the specs mean
- PIR sensor: a passive infrared sensor that picks up body heat moving across its view. Because it saves energy while the area is empty, the battery lasts longer.
- IP65: sealed against dust and protected against water jets, so it can go on an exposed wall.
- LiFePO4: lithium iron phosphate, a battery chemistry chosen for long life in solar lights.

Before you buy / installation tips
- Mount it where the panel gets full sun, clear of trees.
- Point the sensor across the path people walk, not straight down it, and away from the road so passing cars do not trigger it.
- Wipe dust off the panel and sensor every few weeks.
