200W Solar Street Light 36Ah Die-Cast Aluminium

Compact for its output, this 200W solar LED street light packs 398 5730 LEDs into a die-cast aluminium head measuring only 495 x 210 x 90mm. It suits installers who want metal construction and a large battery without the bulk of a full road-lighting fitting.

The LEDs are fixed at 6000K daylight with a stated 160 lm/W. A 5V 26W polycrystalline panel charges a LiFePO4 3.2V 36Ah battery, and the manufacturer quotes 6 to 8 hours of charging for 30 to 36 hours of discharge. That 36Ah cell is the largest 3.2V bank in this part of the range, and it is the figure to compare when weighing this unit against the ABS 200W models with their 12Ah packs and shorter stated run. Die-cast aluminium also draws heat away from the LEDs better than a plastic shell.
