5W Solar LED Garden Bollard 7.5Ah Lithium 800mm

Standing 800mm tall, the 0885A05-13 is the taller of the manufacturer's two 5W solar garden bollards, and it suits sites where the light needs to clear low planting or a kerb edge.

Light comes from thirty 2835 LEDs at 6000K, rated at 160 lm/W, and the whole lamp runs off its own head-mounted 6V 3.8W polycrystalline panel. Stored energy sits in a 3.7V 7.5Ah lithium-ion battery, which the manufacturer rates at 6 to 8 hours to charge and 20 to 24 hours of discharging time once full, so a bollard that gets a clean day of sun has plenty in reserve for a long night. Construction is aluminium with a PC diffuser over the LED board, on a 260mm diameter base. Siting matters more than the numbers: shade from a wall, a tree or a roof overhang will cut what the panel collects, and season affects it too.

Installers use these along entrance drives, car park edges, walkways between blocks, lodge and hotel gardens and compound perimeters. Paired with the shorter 0885A05-12, the range gives two heights in the same finish for stepped or terraced ground.
