Knicker Mason Hammer Head, Blue (2 lb to 3 lb)

The Knicker blue mason hammer head in 2 lb, 2.5 lb and 3 lb, sold wholesale by the carton in Kenya by AHIHQ Traders, Nairobi. This is the head only, with no handle, for workshops and hardware shops that fit their own handles or replace a worn one.

Sizes and packing

Head only, or a complete hammer?

A loose head is the economical choice where handles are fitted locally, or where one head outlasts several handles on site. Fit it to a sound handle that fills the eye tightly, and wedge it so the head cannot work loose: a loose head is a safety risk. If you want the hammer ready to use, the Knicker mason hammer with plastic handle comes in the same three weights.

The 2 lb gives more control for chisel work and dressing block; the 3 lb puts more weight behind each blow for breaking and heavier stone work. Use a mason hammer, not a claw hammer, to strike chisels and work masonry.
