The lid and body combine PC with an iron reinforcing frame, so the unit takes foot traffic and the weight of chair castors without the cover flexing. Both outlets accept multi-standard plug pins and are rated 10A at 250V on a 220-240V, 50Hz supply. When closed, the cover keeps dust and mop water out of the outlets, which matters on tiled and timber floors that are cleaned wet.
