MODI Floor Socket MD-HWA3004 10A Power and Data Gold

Desks in the middle of a room need power and a network drop from the same point. The MD-HWA3004 answers that with a floor socket that carries universal power outlets alongside a computer data outlet, so a workstation can be fed without running cable back to the perimeter wall.

Like the rest of the MD-HWA30 series, it is built from PC with an iron frame and finished in brushed metal gold. The recessed lid closes level with the floor when the point is not in use, protecting the outlets from dust and cleaning water and leaving no trip hazard. Power outlets are rated 10A at 250V on a 220-240V, 50Hz supply.

The obvious applications are open-plan offices, meeting rooms, training rooms, reception counters and study areas, plus retail counters where a till needs both mains and a data connection. Fitting follows the usual sequence of casting or chasing in the back box first, then dropping in the plate once floor finishes are down. Supplied 24 per carton.
