About this product
Every room with a television needs somewhere for the signal cable to land, and the M1-044 is that point in the MODI M1 range. It is a flush-mounted TV socket that terminates the aerial or decoder feed at the wall, replacing the loose cable tail that so often gets left behind after a first fix.
The panel is high-quality PC material, self-extinguishing and flame-retardant in line with the rest of the series, and the body is a one-piece moulding rather than an assembly of clipped parts. Internal wiring lets the installer make off the cable inside the back box, which keeps the plate sitting flat and protects the connection from being pulled.
It is specified in living rooms, bedrooms, guest houses, hotel rooms and student accommodation, usually alongside a socket outlet on the same wall. Four finishes are available, white, gold, grey and black, so the media wall can be kept consistent with the switches and sockets around it.
