MODI MD-T860B T8 Batten Bracket 600mm Without Tube

This is the MODI MD-T860B batten bracket, a 600mm mounting channel for a T8 tube. It is supplied without the tube, which is how electricians and hardware shops usually want it: the fitting and the lamp are replaced on different cycles, and buyers often have a preferred tube already.

The channel is made of iron with plastic end caps and lamp holders. At 600 x 33 x 14mm it is slim enough to sit close to a ceiling or under a shelf without drawing attention to itself. Nominal supply is AC220-240V at 50/60Hz, and the fitting is rated to operate across a wider AC175-265V range, which is useful where mains voltage is unstable or where a long run has dropped the supply. Fixing is through the base of the channel, and the wiring terminates inside the body.

It is used in kitchens, garages, workshops, stores, corridors, shop displays and under kitchen wall units, wherever a plain, low-cost linear fitting is needed and the tube is chosen separately.
