Screw Hooks, Open (No. 2)

No. 2 open screw hooks, sold wholesale by the carton of 200 packets in Kenya by AHIHQ Traders, Nairobi. A screw hook has a threaded shank and an open hook at the head, so items can be hung up and lifted off again.

Sizes and packing

Screw hook or eye hook?

Open screw hooks suit things that go on and come off: tools on a workshop wall, cups and utensils under a shelf, bags, keys and plant hangers. Because the hook is open, a load can also be knocked off it. For curtain wire, washing lines or anything that must stay anchored, use a closed eye hook instead.

In timber, start a pilot hole and turn the hook in by hand. In masonry walls, set a wall plug first and turn the hook into the plug.

No. 2 is the size given on our supplier list, and the list does not state how many hooks are in each packet. Ask us on WhatsApp +254 724 505 919 for the count per packet before you order.
