About this product
The 0285B40-01 is a solar home system in the middle size (-01 version) of the 0285 series: a packaged unit that charges from its own panel by day and runs lighting and small loads after dark, with no mains connection. It suits off-grid homes, small shops, dispensaries and schools that need more than a couple of lamps in the evening.
The 0285 series
- Entry size: 0285A20-01 and 0285A20-11
- Middle size: 0285B40-01 and 0285B40-11
- Top size: 0285C60-01 and 0285C60-11
Tips
- List what you want to run each evening (lights, phones, a radio or TV) and pick the smallest size that covers it.
- Put the panel in full sun; shade from a roof, tree or wall cuts the charge, and a cloudy day means less light that night.
