240W Solar Street Light Aluminium 30Ah LiFePO4

The 240W model closes out the aluminium 0856 series and is the one to specify where the mast is tall and the area is wide: industrial perimeters, quarry and farm yards, large parking areas and main internal roads.

Four hundred and thirty-two Bridgelux 5730 LEDs at 6000K to 6500K are rated at 160 lm/W. Power comes from a 10V 39W polycrystalline panel into a LiFePO4 6.4V 30Ah battery, with the manufacturer quoting 6 to 8 hours of charging and 20 to 24 hours of discharge. The 39W panel is the largest in the series and is what keeps a 30Ah bank recovering properly on a shorter day, which is the practical reason to step up rather than fit two smaller units. The aluminium body measures 901 x 220 x 118mm.

Design height is 9 to 12 metres, so budget for a proper mast and safe access. As with every solar fitting, siting and season set what the panel collects, and the stated discharge window assumes it has charged fully. The manufacturer states a 3 year warranty.
