MAX LED Downlight M-DLM5130R 30W COB 2100lm Recessed

Recessed into a ceiling, the MAX M-DLM5130R puts 30W of COB LED light into a 210mm fitting producing 2100 lumens. It belongs to the M-DLM51 range and is the size electricians reach for when a shop floor, corridor or large room needs fewer fittings carrying more output each.

The lamp body uses an aluminium nail-type heat sink with a white plastic face ring, held in place by two iron clamp springs so it snaps into the ceiling cut-out without extra fixings. A glass and PC front covers the COB chip, and the driver is an external non-isolated constant current unit of the plug-and-pull type, which means a failed driver can be swapped rather than scrapping the fitting. A black plastic press-wire buckle secures the cable at the housing. Electrically it takes AC220-240V 50/60Hz and tolerates AC175-265V in operation, with a 2KV surge rating and a power factor above 0.5.

It is an indoor fitting, at home in retail interiors, offices, hotel corridors, showrooms and open-plan living areas. A 60W version giving 4200 lumens is available in the same series for higher ceilings.
