About this product
Rated at 45A, the M1-043 is the outlet plate that terminates a heavy fixed-load circuit. It is used where a cooker, a large water heater or similar equipment is hard-wired to the supply and the connection needs to be enclosed, accessible and neatly finished at the wall.
The plate is moulded from high-quality PC material that is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant. Internal parts are selected copper, specified for conductivity and resistance to electrical corrosion, and the one-piece moulded body resists deformation over the long service life a fixed connection is expected to have. Internal wiring means the conductors are terminated within the back box, which keeps the finished plate flat and the installation quick.
It is normally paired with a 45A cooker switch upstream, and is a standard item on domestic kitchen fit-outs, apartment blocks and small commercial kitchens across Nairobi and the wider region. Supplied in white on the M1 flush plate.
