MODI M2 Double Multifunction Switched Socket Outlet

Where one multifunction outlet is not enough, the M2-017 provides two on a single plate, each with its own switch. The multifunction pattern accepts the various plug types that turn up on imported appliances and IT equipment, which removes the need for adaptors sitting permanently in the wall.

Build follows the M2 specification throughout. Selected copper internal parts carry the current and resist electrical corrosion; the one-piece moulding keeps the plate rigid and true after repeated plugging and unplugging; and the PC panel is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant. Internal wiring gives the installer more room to work and a neater result once the plate is screwed home.

It is a sensible specification for office desks, computer rooms, hotel rooms, boardrooms and home study areas, anywhere two devices with different plugs share the same position. Supplied in gold and grey finishes. Both outlets sit on a standard flush plate, so the position can be fed from one back box rather than two. Cartons hold 50 pieces, which suits an office or hotel floor being fitted out in one go.
