MODI Solar LED Street Light Head 200W and 300W

The MD-SLT18 is an all-in-one solar street light head for compounds, access roads, yards and perimeters where running a mains cable is impractical or expensive. Panel, battery, controller and LED array sit in one housing, so installation comes down to mounting the head on a pole or wall bracket and aiming it.

Light output comes from SMD LEDs, powered by a 3.2V 10Ah lithium-ion battery charged through an integrated 4.5V 10W solar panel. The manufacturer states 4 to 6 hours of solar charging and more than 12 hours of working time from a full charge, which covers a full night through most of the year at this latitude. Control is flexible: it can run on light sensing, from the supplied remote, or from a manual switch, so it can be left fully automatic or managed by hand where a site has specific hours.

It is a practical fit for residential compounds, schools, churches, farms, godowns, parking areas and estate roads, particularly where grid supply is unreliable or the trenching cost for a mains run cannot be justified. Two sizes are offered, 200W and 300W; the electrical figures listed below are those published for the 200W model.
