3200VA 3000W Hybrid Solar Inverter 24V MPPT Pure Sine

Model STN30224 is the larger of the two STN wall-mount hybrids, rated 3200VA / 3000W and built around a 24VDC battery bank. Stepping up to 24V halves the current at a given load, keeping cable sizes and losses sensible on the battery side. It suits busier premises than the 12V model: a family home with a water pump, a salon or a school office.

Waveform is pure sine at 230VAC and surge capacity is rated 6400VA, so motor-driven loads have room to start. Solar charging is MPPT, harvesting more from the array in poor light than a PWM controller would, and peak efficiency from PV to inverter is quoted at 98%. The input window can be set to 170-280VAC where sensitive computer equipment is connected, or widened to 90-280VAC to ride through a weak grid, with automatic 50Hz or 60Hz sensing. Monitoring runs over RS232, with GPRS and WiFi available, and the enclosure shares the same 273 x 357 x 95mm footprint as its smaller sibling.
