About this product
Model STM82248 is a hybrid inverter for 48V battery systems, rated 8200W. At this size it is a whole-building machine rather than a backup box: contractors specify it for guest houses, farms with irrigation and cold storage, and mid-sized retail units moving to a hybrid supply.
On the array side, the MPPT tracker operates from 90 to 450VDC with a nominal operating point of 360VDC, accepts up to 500VDC open circuit, and delivers a maximum PV charging current of 160A. Full-load tracking is held between 360 and 450VDC, so the string should be designed to sit in that band, and maximum DC to AC conversion efficiency is quoted at 98%. On the AC side it feeds 220, 230 or 240VAC at a nominal 35.6A with a power factor above 0.99, and synchronises to a grid between 195 and 253VAC at 50 or 60Hz. Two load outputs are provided: the full 8200W main output and a second, non-essential output rated to 2733W that is shed first, with main load cut-off at 44VDC.
Hybrid, on-grid and off-grid installations are supported.
