MODI Heavy Duty Cable Reel MD-HWW1006 50M 3x2.5mm Black

Fifty metres of 3 x 2.5mm cable wound on a drum, the MD-HWW1006 is the reel contractors reach for when power has to travel a long way from the nearest outlet. Three 13 amp sockets on the drum head let several tools or lamps run at once, which is the point of a reel on a site rather than a single trailing lead.

The cable is a YZ soft rubber sheathed copper core type, chosen for wear resistance and for staying flexible through repeated winding and unwinding. Conductors are aluminium wire with copper plating. The multiple outlets are designed for simultaneous working, and the assembly is built for durability and ageing resistance under the rough handling that reels get on a working site. This unit is supplied in black; the wider MD-HWW1 series is produced in red, black and white.

Typical use is construction sites, workshops, garages, event and tent setups, generator runs and maintenance work in factories or farms. Unwind the drum fully before drawing a heavy load, and keep the connected total within the socket rating.
